My longest 1 shot kill = 260 metres (approx 285 yards).
Location = Broken Hill, NSW, Australia - semi/desert country.
Temperature = Warm approx 30+degrees C.
Target = goat standing facing me.
Hit = in centre of neck, instant kill.
Position = seated behind large log with front arm resting on top of log.
Rifle = CZ 527 LH American.
Calibre = 223 Remington.
Scope = Bushnell 5 - 15 x 50 AO, set on 10 x for this shot.
Load = 50 grain Nosler Ballistic Tip, 27 grains AR2206H, WSR primer in a Winchester case loaded to 58 mm LOA.
