Do you prefer a hunting rifle with a detachable mag?

2/3 of the rifles have blind mags or mag boxes with hinged floorplates, other 1/3 have detachable mags.

No detachable mags for me. I like the hinged floor plate. For me I like the smooth bottom for handling/carrying. Never had issues loading or unloading but I don't hunt in and out of the truck several times a day. I had both and just prefer the hinged floor plate. As this thread shows its all about personal preference and how you use your rifle.

I kind of like the tube magazines on lever actions. Can you make me a detachable tube magazine for my bolt action?

I'm running a detachable and really like it so far so long as I don't forget the mag at home before a hunt lol
