Hammer Hunter Load Data, (See page 1, Post 8)

The load I ended up with maybe GLTaylor (don't know how to key his name for notification ?) could add to the list -

6.5 prc , 1 x 7.5 twist , 24" length barrel , 124gr Hammer Hunters , Federal 210 primers , powder Vithivouri N560 - 61.8 gr at 3335 fps , Hornady brass - OAL 2.880 , bullet seated to first valley crimped at 1/4
I had big speed increase jump from 60.5 / 61 to 61.5gr and much smaller from there to 64 gr. Never really saw pressure until 64 grains with just slight bolt resistance and a hint of injector mark. 64 gr shot 3480 fps but the better grouping was where I settled.

That's some serious medicine you got there... 👍

I'm looking for a load for a 300WM. I've looked through this thread and the actual spread sheet, and I'm curious as to why no one has tried RL19 for the 181HH. There is data for powders from RL16 through RL26 but none for RL19 which has a burn rate somewhere between those. I've had good results with RL19 in other 300WM's and have some in my garage waiting to be loaded. Can anyone give me an idea where to start or tell me why no one else has tried it?

Finished up load development today. 56.5 grains with a OAL of 2.630 is grouping decent (5 shots at 100 yards below) and running about 3740 fps. With the additional jump I tried running more powder but hit pressure again at 58.0 grains, the groups were best at 56.5 grains. Not too shabby out of a 22" barrel.

Started load development today with the 137 grain 30 caliber hammer hunter in my Cooper 300 win mag. It's a 24" barrel, 1/10 twist. Using Peterson 300 wm long brass, seated to 3.440 OAL, Fed 215 primers, H4350. Only had time for pressure testing today.

78.0 - 3553 fps
79.0 - 3646 fps
80.0 - 3652 fps
81.0 - 3703 fps
82.0 - 3756 fps
83.0 - 3778 fps
84.0 - 3823 fps

No pressure signs yet, will see how much more powder I can get in the case, hopefully find a node closer to 4000 and then start testing seating depth's.

Searching for a load for a 28 Nosler and 169 HH.
ADG and Nosler brass
CCI 250 and Rem #9 1/2 M primers
Powders available:
H 1000, N 570, N 565, N 560, Ramshot Magnum, 7826 SSC, IMR 4831

Lots of info on this thread and spreadsheet, but only one (that I could find) load for any of these powders and this bullet. It seemed to be a very hot load and I am more interested in accuracy and ease of use on components than speed, just for speeds sake.

Your input on load data for the 28 Nosler and 169 HH is greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
