375 ultra mag

I've got 2-375 RUM, a Remington with a Lilja bbl and a Montana rifle co. one I'm shooting 260 accubonds at 3,050 in the Montana and 250 sierras at 3,100 out of Remington gun. the facts…recoil is stout but totally manageable, kills like an absolute monster. Shoots fairly flat…3" high @ 100 is 3" low at 300 unbelievably accurate, it's one of my favorite calibers. 2 moose, a ton of monster Canada black bears, coyotes and big deer. It's not finicky to load for and an absolute beast ! Good luck!

Another bullet to consider for LR hunting is the Chinchagas. The 375 grain RBT ST has a G1 bc of .8 and shot great out of 2 rifles I shot them out of (a bit bigger than the RUM 😂). I used the 350 SMK at a similar velocity for shooting sessions, because it has the same BC and was cheaper, and simply swapped ammo for hunting.

I've Also considered either the 375 RUM or even better a 375 REAPER .. and possibly mage feed it
Well you have been making Dreams come true for along time , I say go for it !

I have talked about the 375 Rum for way to long ....the time is now !

His is a t-5 terminator and it helps alot !
I have a t-4 terminator and a Ti-pro 5 to try on my new build .

He settled on the 329 gr hammers, his is a 1/10 twist . The 395 gr were ok but not fast enough for him ! Ha ha

What velocity was he able to send those 2 bullets? barrel length?

Ok I had to dig through my pictures for the rest of the data .
Here it goes :
Sammi Camber ..no added free bore
All testing at about 4000 ' fwi

395gr hammers

Re-26 93gr @ 2671 ft.per.sec

Re-33 2472 @ 2472 ft.per.sec

Magnum 101 gr @ 2688 ft.per.sec

H-1000 95gr @ 2621 ft.per.sec

Retumbo 97 gr @ 2624 ft.per.sec

These were max charge for his Rifle .
As we all know Please work up .

He went with the 329 gr. Hammers .

He built his for Montana Bear Hunting and I'm doing the same . I just want a Shorter barrel set up . I don't need the 375 Rum really , I have enough 338's to get me by but always wanted the 375 for some heavy bullets ! Time and testing but looking for heavier than 350 gr . The 365 , 375 and 395 gr is were I'm headed. Put together in a 26" barrel rifle .
Mine should be perfect out to 1200 yards or so and hit with Authority!
