"ours are farm raised. after the fair, we pull the ribbons off their rumps and remove the ear tags and turn 'em loose."
With the size of some of them hogs, ya'll must have one heckava stack of ribbons. HOWEVER, my brother and a couple of others did take the NVD's out and got 4 hogs before they disappeared into the brush, and he told me that what I had learned from watching you was correct, that the bigger hogs were coming out at night. 2 Sows, 2 half grown. told him if he'd been more patient he'd probably got the Boar.
When I asked him about pictures, he said he forgot and some neighbors wanted the hogs so he gave them away. He told me he would try and remember next time.
As far as suppressors, do they come in Wife sized?
Glad to see you posting again, I thought that maybe you were PO'd that I printed up and took your advertising picture around to all the neighbor ladies and the general comment was "that poor man"....:Well, all except my wife, who said "His poor wife"......
52 Grain bullets?...My wrist rocket slingshot shoots bigger ammo than that! Learned my lesson in Vietnam with the .223 in my new Mattie Matel M-16. Put 3 rounds center of mass into a NVA charging me with a bayonet and he still kept coming. My
RTO (Radio Telephone Operator) took him down with his .45. Of course, there were extenuating circumstances, since he did have an undershirt on under his uniform shirt, so that probably slowed down the bullet considerably. Great round for training someone to shoot, small game and yotes, but not much use otherwise.
Probably going to get some flack from the 5.56 crowd on that, but go into a situation where the rounds coming back at you are 7.62 x 39 and let's see how well you like the 5.56.
Next you'll be trying to shoot them with rimfires. Guess I could loan you my wrist rocket! Heck, before long you'll probably be running them down on foot, ripping the tusks out of their mouths and stabbing em to death, two or three hogs at a time...
Go Tarzan! At least Coy Franks has the decency to run em down in a truck or sic the Grandkid's on em and not humiliate them poor hogs that way...ROFL.
Anyway, keep them pictures coming.
