i was shooting 125gr tnt at over 2500 fps but recently switched to 110gr sp for more speed. not sure how fast the new ammo is, but handloads are 2700+

that's not me and those aren't my kills. that's bill wilson with some trophies taken on his recent south african safari. a few posts ago, someone asked what i was shooting. i said i was shooting a 300 ham'r which is a wilson combat exclusive. the pics were just to show how effective an ar15 can be.

AR15 is fine as long as it isn't in 556/.223 You cannot kill anything with a .223
There was a video posted that showed a woodpecker taking a 223 right to the beak and it didn't even knock him off the telephone pole.
I read it on the internet....
