Some day I will move to texas so I can screw a round all day like you fellas
thought i'd try out some daytime maneuvers coy taught me. no matter where i am, i always feel like he's watching over me.
What gun were you using when this photo was taken?
Didn't post yesterday, came back from surgery and just went to sleep. Slept all afternoon, got up and ate dinner then went back to bed. Still can't see, as they have a patch over right eye which is supposed to come off this afternoon.
Absolutely no pain, surgery was a lick, but the **** IV anesthesia knocked me out and didn't wear off until I got up this morning. Anyway will be back later today.
Glad to see djones posting and see that Coy is back in the bushes relieving himself. Spends a lot of time back in the bushes it seems, might want to have that checked, Coy!......

Beautiful gun! I now want one and will think of ways one without the wife finding out!
Like I said, surgery was a lick, only took about 40 minutes and most of that was prep time. No pain either during or after. Only problem I had was the IV anesthetic lingered forever and gave me a case of Cotton mouth where it felt like my mouth was composed of the sand Camels walk across in Northern Africa and tasted like they had all stopped to crap on their way through!
The only thing I could find to relieve the dry mouth was an amazing product called Biotene that my wife had used previously and worked wonders and allowed me to eat. Otherwise throat was so dry, couldn't swallow Dinner. Water or other liquids didn't help at all.
Doctor wouldn't change the lenses to Photo Grey and also refused to put in adjustable lenses where I could up the magnification to at least a 4x. I tried to explain that it would save me a fortune on Scopes, but no dice. Singularly uncooperative about that. Must have been anti-gun. All O.R. staff was female Doctors and assistants and when asked if there was anything they could do while I was laying on the OR table, I said my second choice would be a pedicure, and they seemed to get a little indignant! After that didn't dare ask for my first choice!.....
Got to go back this afternoon and have patch removed from Right eye and they tell me that the eye will stabilize within a couple days with full vision. When I take the patch off to drip in antibiotics, still a little cloudy.
At this time, still can't see from Left eye, and writing this from about 6" so ignore spelling and other errors.
If anyone has been stalling to have this procedure done, forget it and go do it. Was so easy it was like watching Coy shoot!

Good to hear the surgery went well Packrat. You messed up when you asked for the magnifying lenses for replacing your scopes as you might have been dealing with a bunch of anti gun tree huggers there at the Dr's office. You should have asked for a "night vision" lense so you could keep an eye on your all organic sustainable garden and your free range yard birds!

Maybe he's doing something different In the bushes. I see the way he looks at Jones. lol
Everything moving along and sight coming back to right eye. Seems a little weird since most of my life have been Left eye dominant which is now reversed. Used to competition shoot .45 with an average of 9.23 points per round on a 100 round course shooting left eye dominant. May have to learn to shoot again.
Now am mainly typing with right eye. Still very,very slight cloudiness, but getting better day by day. Even notice the difference from morning to evening with the clearing getting better.
Mr. djones: Well, you don't look much like what I had pictured.....Much worse!......with your looks combined with your attitude, have you ever thought of wearing a full time Prophylactic over your face?...i'm sure it will help draw some interest from those 60 year old ladies you're always complaining are ignoring you...Not sure what kind of interest, but definitely interest........Also there is a new thing out you might want to try. It's only been out a few years, about 80 plus or minus, called deodorant...And with that face, you need to work up some good lines....Good ones, rather than "Get in the truck"...
Just follow my advice and soon you'll be slicker than a snake wearing silk!
Coy: Thanks and does djones only take about half your pictures when you are back in the bushes or behind the truck?. Actually to get his picture with the hogs, he probably doesn't even know you are in the picture and like you said, when you gotta go, you gotta go!

Picked up one of my rifles and can see through the peep and see the front sight again so is major improvement already. Going to have to overcome the training I learned from a 2 week course in "Instinct shooting" and learn to use sights again.....Or maybe not, seems to have worked out fairly well so far. Best Money I ever spent.
Will check back in later, got to go drip antibiotics in my eyes again, and they'll blur out for about an hour.
