If that's typical then the cost of the Hammer's isn't a factor, at least not compared to the ways I've been doing it…

I'll definitely try that when my 338-06AI is complete. I will be using lapua brass though. Those are impressive speeds.

My record for load development with hammers was 7 rounds out of my 6.5x47 with the 124 HH. That includes getting it zeroed from my 130 AB load. Gotta like it when things work like that.

I should have stopped with the first three on this one, but wanted mo betta. But you can see the results above it just opened up. May have tightened back up, but brass was telling me no.

The price of anything with 33 in it ain't cheap. This one isn't a plinker so it is ok.

Running them in a bigger case for steel…pass.

MAKE SURE YOUR TWIST RATE WORKS though. Over twist is better. Under and they'll hit like a hockey puck.

I couldn't find any of the 160 gr TTSX when I was getting components for this rifle. I bet they will really be moving from your AI!!!
I tried the 160gr and 180gr TTSX they both shot really well. I just happen to have some of the 160's still. I was getting 3180 or so with the RL but not really pushing them hard. According to the book I should get close to the same with the 335.

I'll start low as I seen yours is a 338 Sherman. Kinda funny, as the gun that's getting a re barrel to 338-06AI was my 6.5 Sherman.

This evening I loaded up the same 20 cases, 5 each at the following charge weights:
56.1
56.4
56.7
57.0

Coal 3.34"

Hope to get them on target this weekend. I'm going to shoot them at 300 yards. Once this load is dialed in I'm gonna move to one of the other projectile options I have on hand. I did get on Hammer's website… I'm sure a few sample packs will find their way to my bench eventually… the 190 & 210 tipped HH look awesome!
