Broken Arrow,
I still have mine, bought over 30 years ago. It has been to Africa a few times, and accounted for game from Impala to Cape buffalo. It's a great rifle!

Have had many down through the years. Memorable ones (good times, companions there, etc.) = Model 94 Winchester Classic carbine, Mod 77 Ruger .280, Mod 700 7mm Mag, Mod 700 300WM Classic, Mod 700 25-06 (later converted to .257 BEE) Classic, Mod 70 Winchester rebarreled 30-06 FWT, Mod 700 rebarreled 6.5/284 Classic, Mod 700 Classic .257 Roberts Ackley Improved, Belgium made early BAR .270... Several others but you get my drift. For me, life is just way too short to settle for one.
