What is the rifle you passed by that you regret not buying

I have have many rifles that I passed buy but two from the same guy really made me wish I had bought them both .They were a weathetby V in 338-378 kt and a original 1895 Winchester in 405 win.He wanted $1500 for both and they were in super good shape .A friend bought the 338-378 kt and converted it to full 338-378 Weatherby. THAT 405 looked new so did the other one .That was in 1998 back when a dollar was worth something.
Back with the Facebook and groups to buy sell guns openly, someone had a left handed Remington 700 BDL in 338 win mag, for 575. I thought it over for a day and by the time I got back to it, it was gone.

Three come to mind.
First is a number 1v 25-06 I had the opportunity at for $600 when I was 14
Second was another number 1v in 6mm Remington. The bidding went $50 above what I had on me and I had to let it go
The third is a lgs grices was running a special browning a bolt micro hunter and one of the chamberings was a 284 Winchester. I didn't care much then but I wish I had capitalized on that now.

That a bolt would have been a sweet sweet woods rifle…

I had an opportunity to buy and FN Ballista a few years back and i waited and waited and waited and by the time I decided to pull the trigger...she was gone.

A pristine Swedish Mauser 38 back in the 1990's. All matching numbers and didn't even looked like it was issued. More recently a Remarms 700 ADL .223. That would be a handy rifle to have and shoot. I even have a Remington Mountain rifle laminated stock and Williams bottom metal waiting for a new rifle.

I must admit, being LH I check LRH, Guns Int'l & Gunbroker multiple times daily. Once stands out above all…

Bansner Sheep X - Treme ( LH ) in 300 RUM.

I have the same gun in a 300 Win., but will always regret not buying the RUM.
