What is you longest kill with the 308win?

Old thread for sure but the 308 never gets old. Bought my first bolt 308 for a prairie dog shoot in SD/ND. Killed a few at over 1K which was my goal. 185 Berger VLDs. That was decades ago and since have killed at 830 with it in my home state deer hunting late doe season. 178 Amax DRT. Not my favorite long range rifle but sure one of my favorite cartridges.

I used .308s 90% of kills for a number of years. 29 whitetail to 425 yd with 26 deer died in their tracks. All one shot kills. Primary rifle was plain factory Sako single shot BBl. Longest bow was 65yd, black powder 110 yd. Mixed in .300 Winmag, .243, 30/06, 6.5 Cr, but longest was the .308.165 NBT. All factory. Ahhh! Excuse the reminiscing. I did miss not hunting for 25 years.
