338 RPM for me…same reasons.
Paired with the 6 lug Mark V for 5-6lbs they make sense but agree on the cartridges not doing anything that the existing market already has.

A: None, despite my reasonably good inventory. I do, however, have duplicate/triplicate chamberings.

Once one worships at the alter of .270 permission is granted to hate every development since the 1930's, "THAT DOES NOTHING MY 270 WILL NOT DO BETTER!"
I kinda like the idea of a 338 RPM. I was going to build a 338-06AI but thought I'd go RPM instead. No fireforming, more case capacity and Petersen brass. I think it has its place. Will it replace my 338 RUM, or a lapua, Norma etc? NO.

I give a little toast to my game with a 7 and RUM. Sometimes I'll use a 7STW. LOVE them. My cartridge to hate are the Creedmoores. Give me a belted magnum every time. My 12 year old grandson uses.one. Good hunting all

Why in the world would any of us hate having another option in the market? Why do we care? I am reminded of the popular meme series with the caption "show me on this doll where the (insert the name of a cartridge) hurt you."

Teenage girls. We act like teenage girls. "I don't like her because she's popular."
For example, I don't like Glocks. I know Glocks are reliable. I know Glocks have been around forever. I have no reason to dislike Glocks. However, I illogically don't like them because of their fanboi following that don't give any other manufacturer the time of day, making sure we all know it, too.
On the flip side of that coin, I am in love with the 6mmARC for illogical reasons. My daughter shoots her deer with it. She's my hunting buddy. I love her. I love the cartridge. Illogical? Yes. Still emotionally invested? Yes.
Now, I realise I just painted with a very broad brush...

I can't hate on a round. The only diversity and inclusion practice I believe in, is when it comes to rifles! That being said the older I get the more I avoid excess recoil. I get enough push back from other sources…..

Because new stuff pushes some decent old stuff off the ammo shelves. One of the recent Vortex Podcasts chronicled the .30 Remington AR. That chambering should have stood the test of time. It was sadly introduced at the wrong time and the marketing was mishandled a bit.
