Today, I finished my load development with the Berger 175gr EH for my Bergara B14 Crest. I am getting 2957 FPS out of a suppressed 22" barrel.

I didn't want to push it too much because it was around 60 degrees today, and these TX summers get toasty. I'll probably pick up a little extra speed on those warmer days.

Unfortunately, I only loaded 3 rounds at this charge weight. I'll take it to my buddy's lease after they finish hunting this year. We should be able to stretch it out to 1100 yds.

Anyone try 180 gr Scenars? I have some loaded with up to 68.0 grs of H1000 at .002 off the lands to find pressure. Looking for around 2900 fps with accuracy, of course. Bartlein 26" barrel / 8 twist.

Just need to get to the range.

Factory Precision Hunter ELD X 175 gr is giving me 2880 fps with the 26" barrel.

Your numbers are low like mine. I am getting 2788 out of my 22" Bergara B14. Hornady either lies or seriously embellish their numbers.

mine got a 26" bartlein 4 in favor of the 24" #3, it's getting shipped back Monday.
ready to get it loosened up!

@Countrykang8 certainly not what I was hoping for out of the factory ammo. Getting to 2850 with Staball HD with the 175's, so happier, but I was just expecting a little more

I am getting mid to upper 2900s with H1000 and N565. 68.2 and 68.6 grains of H1000 have been some amazing loads for me.

@Countrykang8 Nice, I have some H-1000 for my 300WM, might have to share if I don't find any on the shelf soon. Why didn't I buy that 8 pounder when I saw it 4 months ago!?!?
