Looks like I need to head to SC and help out scrbl. Now that work is slowing down. Had some time to kill stuck in Dallas cause they overbooked my flight. I'm not sure I like being this close to d Jones. Thought it was a good plan to take the $500in free vouchers to hang out for another 3 hours but I've spent more than that already. Dam amazon and palmettostate.

Can do Pac. I like to think I can go do all this carp but my wife already says I'm sick and have a problem. When I told her I shot that last pig cause it attacked me she said I bet. She is now trying to tell me I'm limited to 4 hunts a year. I just have to laugh at how silly she sounds. Doesn't help my cause at all though.
I think hog hunting is going to get harder around here. Baiting for deer is legal, and now that deer season is in, I'm sure there is enough corn on the ground to end world hunger.

I hear that. I have roughly 20,000 lbs of bait out, if we had hogs I would be in heaven. I would give up deer hunting in a second if we had hogs. I just need to move somewhere else. Maybe someday.
Scrmblr, be very careful if djones is trying to get you facing away in front of him.....Just ask the local N. Texas sheep! Not only that, but he wants you to bring a flashlight! Sounds kind of kinky to me.............

How many feeders do you use?
I checked my trail camera on Friday. No hog activity in almost two weeks. I'm thinking that corn piles for deer are going to screw up my hog hunting until after deer season ends in January.
Switch to Peanut stuff for bait.....Don't know if deer like peanut butter or not, but the variety may be what you need! Do know the hogs like it....Just like fishing, if one bait doesn't work try another!.........

I was going to get bags of peanuts from the Birdsong plant in Darlington, but somebody bought them out. They should have more in the spring. Some of the local sporting good stores sell a peanut/corn mix, but @ almost $20/bag, it's too expensive.
