7mm sherman max

Case capacity = 76.7gr H2O
150gr BD2 Bearing Length (using 7mm SAC comparator) = .426-.427in

I fireformed from ADG 7 saum brass. Understood its not exactly a Max, but its the closest thing available and very close.
It is close in capacity and does sound like a std A.I. which has a little less capacity. Also, is pressuring a little sooner than a Max.
it would helpful to make the difference known in the beginning because as Im always telling people, its not ALL about capacity.

20" 169 hh. Rl 23. @62.5. 1/4 moa 2925,2934,2934. Florida flat at about 77 degrees.

Load workup

169 hammers
3.04

62 2895 2894 2894
62.5 2925 2934 2934 1/4 group
63 2957 2976 2967 heavy bolt

Between 62 and 62.5

I have load work up for 160 cx and 195 Berger if you need.

Barrel has about 60 down when I shot the HH.

Both coppers went very well with rl23. N565 gave more es and sd. N565 was better for the 195 Bergers.

Awesome! Heavy projectile, I like it. I'm hoping to get 3100fps out of a 20" barrel with the 154HHT, think that's reasonable?

Anyone running hammer bullets out of their 7 max? I'd be curious on loads and velocity
I've run a few of the hammer offerings in my 7 Max. Check out the hammertime website, detailed load data there. I like the lighter hammers in the 7 Max running really fast. Currently running the 118 HHT, have had similar results with the 121 and 131 HH.

For my 160cx. I'm getting these. Obviously not hammers.

63.5 3000 2997

Best group was 62.5. But between 62.5-63 was good

That 62.5 grain load is pretty impressive. How's the terminal performance on the 160 cx?
