I have yet to see a 300prc (or any PRC really) that impresses me. All have been slouches for velocity. Easy to load for but slow comparatively. There is some wierd stigma behind them like they are super duper cool and impressive. They aren't. I have a 300winnie that outruns any of my buddy's 300prc. I'd switch the consideration to a properly throated 30 nos and you have a better comparison than the RUM. Of course not really because the 30nos wins. Hehe
