Do you do a medium for Lone Peak ? I have a 6.5 PRC working on and it is going to be long unless we find a medium action ?
We do inlet for a medium length Lone Peak. Call that order in, or create the order online as a short action but leave a note in the box clearly stating that it's for a Lone Peak medium. 6.5 PRC in a medium is perfection.

I ordered the CAT with the AG M5 bottom metal building a 280AI chambered rifle. What magazine would you recommend for this configuration so far I've found an MDT AICS mag they call the 30-06 that may work. I take it the Hawkins Hunter mags won't work?

I think the Hawkins only work in their bottom metal. I am doing their hunter dbm. It's an m5 cut so if you change your mind you can go that route. You can shoot them an email. They are pretty responsive. I would think any mag for a 06 case would work.

Our bottom metal is configured for AICS pattern mags. We suggest Magpul, MDT or AI brand magazines.

Ordering another stock today to take advantage of the discount. 6.5 PRC to compliment my other calibers. I will probably go with long action at the request of my builder as we have access to that action and not sure if we can get the medium. Going to try the Adjustable Armor! I have a Visigoth in my light weight build from last year and love it but want a different style. Want to add arca rail but not sure if they install that close to the action and still include the forend studs just trying to make sure I understand. I don't have plans to use the arca rail right away but don't want to do the build and leave it out for the future. I will mostly use my Harris bipod on the studs and the tripod that grips the forend. Thoughts ?

Nice! As far as shooting off a tripod, an Arca rail and compatible tripod mount will always be steadier than clamp like a BogPod or a Hog Saddle. That's because the rubber inside the jaws of the clamp has some give. You know what I mean if you're ever put the gun in one and looked through your scope at higher magnification. That said, clamps aren't a bad way to go. They're just not quite as rock steady.

As far as mounting an Arca rail on our stocks, this (link below) will give you a really good idea of what you can do. Once you're read the article, the following statement will make sense to you: Keep in mind that the farthest rearward screw needs to be in the aluminum bar, but the rail itself can extend farther rearward past that screw.

Arca Rail Installation

Personally, on all my stocks with Arca rails, I have the Arca rail pushed back all the way until the underside of the stock begins to contour down to allow for the magazine swell (internal or detachable mag, it's all the same.)

We manufacture and sell three different lengths of Arca rails, or you can install one you already have. They should all work just fine.

Here is a pic of last build.
