Took this one off the family farm in Nebraska this morning. Busted up but not much time to hunt as I'm focused on the wife getting one and trying to get my boy on his first deer.

My swamper and i got a blacktail each last shift pair of 3x2s cant wait going back in this evening hoping to fill my other tag.these two were taken at 300yrds and mine at 525 308win model 700rem 180gr federal factory ammo. My swamper in the pics his first kill i glassed it and said a 3x2 is very good for your first shoot. He dropped it right in its tracks as you can see he had a smile we couldn't knock off him for the rest of the shift

Well my kids had a successful first deer hunt. We thought we were going out to get them their first doe, but fate had other plans. This little buck comes out and my daughter calls dibs. Lol. So I give her the go ahead and she smoked him right through both lungs. As we're celebrating, we can see another buck out there. I get my son behind the rifle, and he smokes a monster right through the heart at 250 yards. I'm a super happy dad right now. To top it off, they killed their first deer with my first deer rifle, and the same rifle I had rebuilt by a member from here. Got this old narly troll yesterday morning.

Spotted him earlier in the morning running a doe and I put a sneak on the herd and popped him at 400 yards. He's 7-8 years old, still has velvet shed and raw bone. Lots of character in the rack.
