It only took 20yrs to finally get selected for a Maine non-resident moose tag but this was the year. I didn't get the best area or the hottest week (rut) but I was committed to getting it done. With all the dense woodland in Maine I decided to take my time-tested and reliable 45-70.

This bull was dropped at about 120yds with a 402gr Hammer bullet.

My son and I were able to double up during Nevada's mule deer archery season and in Montana for cow elk. He did one up me with his first Nevada antelope.
