I have 06's set up heavier. 200-220 grain loads but for a tree stand I prefer this low recoil 125 load. When I take my '06 out, I shoot 180+. Never smaller. Usually 200+. I like to think big....

A couple buddies and I went in on buying these things years ago. 10 SKS's for $550.00. I had three of them, but sold two within 2 days. I haven't had that thing out of the safe in years.I saw an SKS not to long back. I have a great dislike for any Russia or China firearm. that comes from being in Vietnam in 1969.
Man you are sure getting some weather there. Been reading about the winter kills. That to bad, and I hate to see it. The only good thing is it might refill some of the dams down the Colo. River.
Mexico-North will let most of it go to the Ocean. Not smart enough to add additional storage during dry time. Oroville they could have increased there storage I thing by triple looking at the maps. Shasta Lake if raised 13' could triple the size and storage area.
Can't believe all the stupid people in this country!

City folk would do better to stay in the city and gather food. Wasn't it Yule Gibbons that said many parts of a stop sign are edible? Nope that was many parts of a pine tree are edible. His city cousin "Jules" Gibbons might eat stop signs.SHTF in country.

Well, I look at it by yardage; long range - rifles, short range-slug gun, close and personal pistols and revolvers, then everything else, bow, crossbow, axes, knives, crowbars and 10 year old Twinkies.Screw the pistols. Rifles rule!
