Ole billy is a dandy. Helpin a huntin buddy get ready for an elk hunt next month now with one of his rebarreled Remingtons. 28 nos. It's shootin 3" groups at 700 during break in….. with ammo loaded and tuned for ANOTHER RIFLE.
Wow, you have some nice rifles. I appreciate you sharing. I was just looking at Lane's site. Comparing Lane, R Bros, and McWhorter's builds.
Several big names on LRH. Getting any of them to furnish your rifle needs would be a good decision.

I would like to hear only firsthand accuracy results from people who have had a long-range hunting rifle/scope system built buy a professional gunsmith/company. Secondly, have you had them develop a round and bought ammunition from them and was it truly consistently accurate, and the tracking was good as adjustments were made for various yardage (400 - 800)? The focus is on repeatable, accurate built rifles and ammunition, and we'll see if there is a common denominator! NOT interested in this post discussing ethics/calibers, etc. If you would recommend family to use this builder, I would appreciate you sharing the specifics on your triedd and true rifle.
There are 4 guys in our group and we've hunted Wyoming, Canada, and Africa. We use L3 Rifles in Augusta, Ga. Several 7 mags, 6.5, and my 7x300 win mag. All rifles shoot .03-.07 @100 yds. My 7x300 will group 3-4 inches at 1200 yds. His rifles will shoot whatever you are capable of shooting! The majority of his customers can't shoot what the rifle can do.

I have had many custom shop guns over the years from hart benchrest to AIs and not is going to make you a better shooter unless you know how to use what you are given to use. you can pay from 6grand to over 12 grand and it will not help you. 1000 yards is nothing now adays and can be done quit well with a home built bighorn action and proof barrel topped with a nightforce NXs or scope of the same in many cals using factory ammo

Bill's custom autos is in Shelby Ms
Sherwood Tact is in Cleveland Ms

I have had customs built by 5 different gunsmiths. Hawk Hill was a personal friend- they shoot great but he no longer builds.

I have a
6CM
7PRCL
6.5 PRC
280 Ackley
300 WSM
300 Win Mag
300 PRC
7 STW
3 XML 45's
6.5 SAUM
All built by Kyle and Allen with McWhorter. They have developed all loads and I would not own one if it shot over half an inch. The XML's are the most fun, deadly, guns I have ever fired. Getting ready for Kansas this year I fired 1 round from each gun at 300 yards and had a sub 1" group- I just thought that was cool. All wear Swarovski (most are Z8's) with turrets.
Also love my McWhorter 45XML it's a hammer. 303HC Pittmans at 3100 fps going to Iowa in January

I have three HS Precision rifles.
SPL 300 WM- shoots 1/2 consistently.
Killed elk, mule deer and bear with it. Swaro X5i.
PHL in 6.5 PRC Swaro X5 most accurate gun I own. Shot steel to 1100+. No kills yet.
HTR 260 rem NXS. My first PRS placed 15 out of 68 shooters.
On the other hand I have a 4K Dakota 280AI that I can't get to consistently shoot under MOA.
quick question, is the PHL a short action? Or did they use a long action? I have a PHL I am thinking about re-barreling.

I have a KkJense 338 NM 7# 2 oz. I put 3 in 6"@1000 Also a Proof 338Nm heavier build. Taken about same number of game with bothI also have Rivers Bend Co 6.5 I bought offf here that's a 6# build Not familiar with them but I've shot factory and don't have problem center of rocks at 7-800 But it's a Defiance anti x ,proof, proof stock and a baby bro to my 338NM

I have 3 custom rifles built by Justin Linenbach- Kinport Peak Rifles (KPR) 208-961-6932
There are many guys on here with many more customs under their belt than myself and more experience, however all 3 of these are serious sub MOA shooters and I highly recommend Justin. His work is fantastic and the end results speak for themselves. I load all my own ammo. Lapua srp brass for creed, ADG for the SAUM and Lapua for the Norma.

1. Terminus Zeus QC, Bartlein 8tw 6.5 creed, MPA BA chassis, TT Diamond 2s, NF NX8 4-32. Sub moa with 8 different loads
2. Terminus Apollo, Benchmark/HCA carbon 6.5 SAUM/GAP4S 7.75tw, Manners LRH, TT Diamond 2s, NF NX8 4-32 Sub moa 156 and 153.5 Bergers.
3. Terminus Zeus Full Thread LA, Proof carbon 9tw 300 NM, Manners Team 4A, TT Diamond 2s, NF NX8 4-32 Sub moa with 230 Berger OTM's.

I only have pics of the most recent targets for the 300NM, I have had 3 one hole groups and it is not quite broke in yet (129 round count).
