Would of been interesting to see a choice for "none listed above" in the poll. Just to see what % of the whole it would be.

Sorry they are not even close am building an ELR rifle it is a 375 Viers mag have the action, stock, cases, trigger and scope just have to set the twist we are looking at an 8 twist and some alloy tipped 420 to 450gr projectiles in 375 the future is going to be interesting for sure.

I am getting ready for some long range hunting next week.
I will be taking a 7mmRM and and 270 with VLD bullets.

The poll needs a none of the above.

BTW - I already have a 6.5x284.

I wouldn't consider any of the others for a big game rifle. I'm not into magnums for hunting. However, I'm considering a 338 Lapua for long-range competition shooting.

My .02

Just got my 7WSM last week from Jim @ Center Shot Rifles......next up will be a 6x47 Lapua for varmint or a 6.5-06AI for deer.......it will be awhile though, gotta start saving again!

Hoping to get a .300 RUM built by Center Shot (only about an hour away). Probably won't be for awhile because we're looking at purchasing a different/larger home and having another kid in the next year.

In the mean time, my 7mm RUM, .280, and .308 will have to do!

Doing 2 light weight pack around 6.5x284's and one 338edge in a heavy gun. Basically the dge is just in case something feels safe past 1k. With my stw I feel comfortable out to 1100 but I want more horsies for elk. Hoping 2011 winds down with something over 1400. well see though. always ends up me kicking up a big buck at 200yrds.
