What constitutes “inherently accurate “?

Lol a comment deleted...from the other thread about Berger's Len is actually censoring us!! ;):D

Lots of input from a lot of people. Would a few of these people step up and list their top 8 cartridges that would fit into the catagory of inherently accurate cartridges?

Anything developed by Hornady. Anything else takes a good rifle. LOL Now I said it. Creed worshipers rejoice.

I don't have 8 I have 2

6.5CM

.308 win

I've had / experienced numerous rifles in those calibers that were always 1 MOA or less, accurate.

Do you think there are more than those two or those are just the two you have confidence & experience with? Thanks

More than two but those are the only ones I can speak of with direct experience on multiple rifles.

I really don't consider 1MOA accurate anymore. This is why there is no answer. There is no standard.

Well I would say less than 1 MOA but then that would start another thread saying the following:

BS, you only did a three shot or whatever size shot group, no way that rifle shot .5 MOA, you're measuring wrong, it can't do that consistently...etc. lol

I think you are looking at this all wrong. first, what do you want to shoot? Second, How far? How much energy do you need at that distance? If paper, how far to transonic? Answer these, and you are on your journey to picking a cartridge.

If you read my earlier post, my new 28 Nosler shot a 1/2" 10 shot group during break in with a starting load 84grs of RE33 and running a snake every other shot.

That's awesome. 10 shot groups are impressive.0
