Ultimate 1,000+ yard rig

What I have now....Factory Sendero 300 Rum. Something of the Berger in 210 to 230 or a Hornady 208 or larger. Just finished up loading some 225 ELDM to go and test when the temps get a little cooler are I'll be out at 5:00am waiting on just enough light. But something I would consider and not blink an eye is a 6.5 Sherman with the 143 ELDX, 140 berger, or the new berger I think its 156 grain that they are coming out with, or something of the 160 grain pills. For as scope I would just get another Vortex HSLR or one of the PSTs.

What would your ultimate 1,000+ yard rifle be for any North American game? Let's keep it to pack weight so under 13 pounds or so with optics!
Anything in a 6.5 Magnum configuration and larger that you can accurately shoot that far.
I have a few, not one of them are over 8 lbs with glass.
6.5 SAUM

I'm a straight 338 lapua guy. I thing any of the heavy hitter 30 cal or 338 would do just fine but a carbon barred 338 lapua is the best package to deliver energy on target at that distance and still be able to carry it semi comfortably

I've always fancied the big Lapua, maybe one day I'll have one, just started gathering parts for my 375 RUM build.

That 375 rum with some high bc bullets would be wicked. If they would make a big long pointy bullet in 375 it would be bad news. Ha ha
Cutting edge makes some wicked looking bullets. I'm just hoping I can get the velocity I want out of it with the 300-325 grain bullets. If we can make it go 2850 FPS with a 300 grainer I think I should have a gun capable of anything I ever intend to kill

my 338 edge runs a 300 grainer at 2850 I would think that a 375 would vary well be able to top that pretty easy
