The Dominus has slightly better low end ratings, that's probably why they recommended it. Could be a heat input component to it also
The shorter fatter shape is reported to have a different recoil impulse and a different tone
Did they do the paper work and etc for the suppressor stamp?TBAC and JA Outdoors is a good combo! I went Ultra 7 (cb) and am very pleased with it. On a 28 Nosler, now friends can stay seated and not leave the bench when it's on the line. Long, yes - but light and very little POI shift.
Good luck with your decision, I think you'll be satisfied with either.
Actually I did that at a LGS in Thomasville, NC (The Gun Shop). They have a Silencer Shop kiosk that made everything easy, all in one place. But unless they recently changed, they don't carry TBAC. I was pretty certain the Ultra 7 Gen2 is what I wanted, so I ordered it from Wes - he had it there very quickly.Did they do the paper work and etc for the suppressor stamp?
I concur. I followed a similar path with JA Outdoors and a local GS (Royal Range). I just wish I purchased two (Dominus and Ultra 7). My stubbornness in thinking I really didn't need a suppressor was one of the most dumb positions I have taken in shooting rifles.TBAC and JA Outdoors is a good combo!
