dougduey,
Never saw your load info on 6.5-284, 143's and RL26. Did you ever post it? johnnyk.
Sorry bud, I got sidetracked and forgot. Will try to remember tonight
I can tell you this, it's somewhere between 54-55.5 gr and my OAL is 3.100". That bullet likes to be pushed around 2975 fps in my rifle no matter which powder I use

Would RL26 be to fast for 338 edge with a 250/300grainer?

currently using 7977 and retumbo, but I know where I can get an 8lb keg of 26 right now

It works great for the 250s. It could work for the 300, but it's a touch faster burning than I would use. For anything above 265 you should use RL33 if you stick with the Alliant lineup for the Edge.

FWIW - 89gr of RE26 shoots bugholes in my 338RUM with 250gr Bergers or Accubonds. Velocity is 3,000 ft/sec.

That'd probably be around starting load in my edge due to seating lengh with the 250s

hows case fill in the 338rum with rl26 and the 250?

I understand. Seems like I stay sidetracked. johnnyk.
