  • "I'm thinking about making a 7 blaser wildcat with a 40° shoulder and very little taper, would look like a 7 Sherman short that has stretched out another 0.3" giving it around 88-89gr powder cap, and still having the long neck."

Did you ever make one of these? I am thinking this would be the ticket.

The norma brass is soft. I'd personally go with the Sherman mega design utilizing a long necked improved 300wsm case that'll likely have around 85gr powder cap. You could just use his brass and set a reamer up to have shorter neck and hold closer to 87gr.

Do you have any 7lrm brass or bullets left over? I would be a buyer at a decent price.

    Hey Buddy,

My dad is in the process of building a rifle and he found the picture you posted of a tikka 6.5 Saum in a thread about carbon fiber stock colors a while back and for the life of us we can't figure out the stock make and model from the picture, he's determined that that is the perfect stock for him. If you could point me in the right direction on make and color pattern twice greatly appreciated.

It is a Mesa Precision altitude stock. Ag composites makes them to Mesa's specs. It's a good stock. The rifle will be up for sale here in a week or so if you're interested in something ready to go right away.
