March FX 4.5-28X52 Review (So Far)

Thanks

I have a Zeiss Conquest V6 3-18 x 50 with ZMOA-2 reticle. I'm really digging the fluoride Schott glass and 103 MOA of elevation on this scope and not sure the March is going to be an almost $800 improvement. The March does look nice though.
Absolutely. It's totally preference! If you're happy with what you have, no need to change!!

I was just out shooting yesterday actually and thought the same thing. Getting behind the FX 4.5-28X52 and my F 3-24X52 is always nice. They are great performing scopes "for the money" even though they are still extremely expensive. I've really tossed around the idea of the ZCO and TT, but can't quite pull the trigger. IDK how they could be $1500-$2500 better. But I'm still always intrigued to try and find out lol. I would totally buy one if they had the EXACT features I was looking for like the March's did.
Very nice review! And some great shots on nice animals!

I have a March 2.5x25x52 SFP/MTR-3 that has been hunted heavily, subjected to the elements and bumped around on and ATV for about 5 years. My experiences concerning reliability and performance are quite comparable to yours. I have not experienced ANY issues. IMO, the stand-out feature of my March is its "unique" ability cut through low sun glare/haze, frequently encountered with my first/last light whitetail hunting. I understand that it is a combination of the internal tube coating and lense design.coatings. I recently acquired, and put a season of hunting on a ZCO420, desiring FFP and MIL capability, as well as seeking improved glass (particularly low light clarity/resolution. A bit bulkier due to the 36mm tube, and about a half a pound heavier being the physical differences, IMO, the basic spec difference(s), and the optical quality(superb!), for my requirements did square the cost between the ZCO and the March. I would add that I have rarely, if ever used more then 20X for my +1000 yard shots on game/varmints so my comparison of the two are at 20x magnification or less.
Overall, depending on one's particular requirements, I think either scope is an excellent value for the dollars spent, and will deliver the goods, and I expect to see continued heavy use of both scopes.

Thank you! And great report on those two scopes as well!

Thank you for the awesome review! Like Greyfox I have the March 2.5x25x52 MTR-3 and it has been a fantastic scope. It replaced a Nightforce NXS 5.5-22x56 to shave a little weight on my main hunting and backpack rifle. I too backpack hunt the high peaks and wilderness country of Northern Ca. and my gear gets tested pretty hard. So far turrets are true and solid and RTZ has been perfect. Glass is pretty good as well. Thanks again, Jason

I have an F 3-24. Will be putting the FX on my build that will be complete in February. I see no reason to switch to something else.

I usually keep my gun sighted in 1 click left of center to offset spin drift at long ranges. I posted a question on the Hide and pretty much got laughed off the board.
Hahaha I normally do 2 clicks. F those guys 😅. I mean if all you shot was ELR targets and needed to account for it every time anyways, you might as well just sight in dead center. I don't want to have to think about it personally.

Very nice!! I love my F 3-24 also! Im slapping the FX right back where she belongs as soon as I get my updated rifle back!!

Have they said when they are going to release an MOA version ?
