March FX 4.5-28X52 Review (So Far)

Scrubbed the barrel clean clean. Shot 2 foulers and did a 100 yard zero check. She hasn't budged.

I have had similar experience with both of my March scopes. I'm definitely going to get one more eventually.

I really like my 4.5x28 but sadly its not going to work on my Bat Vesper action with integral mounts.
I hate to say it but I'll have to sell her

Yeah I had to grind the rail for mine to fit. The March F 3-24X52 has a longer tube and is way more forgiving on the integral rails.

I have 2 March's now also, and I don't see switching any time soon!

I forgot to point out the negative of the mounting limitations. With the short tube design, I had to grind the front lug On my integrated rail in order to mount it low enough AND far enough back for a good eye relief. That's a major downfall IMO
Hey Huntnful, could you explain this a touch more or maybe even take pics of what you had to do? Not sure why I'm not following you but it's not clicking for me and it appears that you have the action that I have on order which is a Lone Peak Fuzion with Alpine cut rail.

I'm not huntnful, but he's referring to having to grind-down/cut-off a portion of the pic rail. I've done the same thing on certain set-ups. The picture below obviously doesn't require any modification to the rail, but you can imagine if I mounted the scope much lower & further back, at some point that circled portion of the rail would need to get machined down.

In order to mount the scope low enough AND slide it back far enough for proper eye relief I ended up just grinding down that front lug on the rail. If not, the bell of the scope hits the rail before it is at an optimal length for me personally and how my length of pull and head align for a full imagine.

@Huntnful

Would you mind if I were to send the link to Deon Optics, the March Scope people? They can add the link to their website.

I know the people running the show there. I am a non stocking dealer with them. They allowed me to be one when I advised them on the reticle for the 4.5X service rifle scope. They refer to the MTR-D3 as the Nez-san reticle.
