Yep, looks like the Savage is dialed in pretty good.
Yeah that's in my backyard range 400 yards, I still haven't got my six 5 x 2 84 back from Smith yet It's getting re-barreledYep, looks like the Savage is dialed in pretty good.
I've beat the living ship out of mine, and it is consistently perfect. I'm a little rusty thoughOnly have @ 40+ shots on it so far, but it's responding correctly/consistently to any adjustments I make. Time will tell, but I feel good about it thus far.
McMillian stock?Just finished this 45 caliber muzzleloader up for a buddy. This is a group at 100 yards. I used hanks ignition system and a 28" brux barrel and 300 grain pittman Aeromax bullets. These rifles just shoot!!

-Leupold 'Back Country' 20 MOA rail (bedded)
-Warne 'Maxima' rings (steel)
-HS Precision PST036 stock
-Kydex from 'Matthew's Fabrication'
-Sightron SIII 6-24x50 'PSR' series (bedded)
Got it 'on paper' yesterday and will try to put it through some paces today as time (honey do's) permits.
Will be putting the 'Thin Blue Line' up for sale in a day or 2….minus scope, rings and bipod. Have another build that will be ready in a couple weeks and this one needs a new home.Well, my new SML quite literally "ATE" the brand new Sightron SIII 6-24x50 'PLR' series scope…..and it only took @ 60 shots to do it. First, the POI started to 'wander'…then making a 1/2 moa windage correction resulted in 3 moa travel on the target…then 'IF' the elevation responded at all was 3-4 moa off. Sent the scope back for a full refund and put a Nightforce NXS 5.5-22x50 on the rifle. Have 47 shots with the Nightforce and all is well…so far.
