I'll have to learn more about photoshop. I just might become the greatest hog hunter this forum has seen if I can learn how to crop myself into hog kill photos.
I'm going in the morning to look for hogs. I won't be able to use this spot more than a week or two longer, since the soybeans are getting too tall. I went out yesterday morning, but couldn't get a shot on the hog that was running in the soybean field. It was foggy and his back would pop up in one spot for .5 seconds then he'd be off. I'd catch a clumps of him again a little while later and he'd disappear again. I waited 30 minutes for the fog to burn off but never saw him again.
I didn't take a shot since the land I was hunting is leased. My friend has hunting rights, but I don't want to take shots at 0620 when I'm less than 200 yards from two trailers full with families if I'm not certain I can make the shot. Big bummer.

I'm not sure what to do about hog hunting. The little buggers are not showing up. I'm not sure if I need to find a priest to exorcize a hunting demon or if I need to sacrifice a chicken to satisfy Jo-bu (the voodoo god in the movie Major League) to bring the hogs back.
I've put out 150lbs of corn over the past week, but I'm just fattening up the deer and the raccoons. I've got some sour mash corn in a bucket in the back yard. Maybe that will bring them around.
The soybeans are about 3.5 feet tall, so I don't think that watching the fields will work anymore.

scrm, coons are fun to shoot too. We are covered up with them. Every time this happens there is a disease that comes through and wipes almost all of them out. I'm ready!!!
i'm not good at research. much easier if you just post some pics of urself. then i'll see what i can do. otherwise i'll hold your buddies pic hostage. he will not like you after what i do to him.
I'll see what I can find. I'm usually the one taking the photos, so I don't have many photos of myself.
FYI - I'm his boss, so I don't really care what he thinks of me!

Scramb. Hogs won't move for you cause its to facking hot. You guys can keep these Carolinas hot and humid. Not enjoying having to work in what feels like a fat guys crotch.
It does get pretty hot down here. Just checked the weather channel, and it is 97 but feels like 104. We have a cold front moving through, since it is not supposed to get warmer than 91 with a chance of thunderstorms tomorrow. Even though it will be cooler, it will be pretty darn muggy. It stinks, but you have to get used to it if you want to do anything outside. We've got at least another 2 1/2 months of this before it starts to cool off.
I got up at 0600 today to do yard work. By 0730, I was drenched in sweat, and on my second pair of socks.
If I didn't have to work, I'd go nocturnal for the hogs, but since I am not rich, I'll have to hunt when I can. I try to go at sunrise, since that will be the coolest part of the day. Since we are getting closer to deer season, the wildlife guys are getting more watchful over hog hunting. They are not giving out as many depredation permits to the hunt for hogs. Too many jackwads poaching deer.

Yep, to dang hot in in Greenville NC for the next week or so working in this crap. I don't have anytime to hunt or get online much. Come fall if I have any money left from finishing my new truck, and getting a fast car I might be able to get a few hunts planned. Lol.
I struck out again this morning. I was in the swamp at 0530 this morning. The only thing I saw in 2 hours of sitting in front of a tree was does. 3 of them to be exact.
I'm going to a different location tomorrow morning. Going to try walking around to see what I can get. My luck can't be any worse than it has been.

I hear its nice back home to. I should have been home over a week ago. Ive been in a hotel for far to long now and got so crazy I went and bought a new gun just to spend a few hours at a range I found here. Going to work got expensive quick. Lol.
