Well, kind of disappointed that djones didn't show up for his Birthday party. I had the fire Department standing by so we could light all those candles and everything. Don't know about that boy, he just keeps drifting further and further away from this thread. I think it's a by product of not having enough Hogs to shoot. If he drifts much further, he's going to be in New Mexico.

Got a message for djones though.......Samantha and her mom and dad stopped by last night to say goodbye. He's been transferred to Corpus Christy, TX and they were hoping to stay until the end of the school year, but he finally ran out of time so they had to move. They were pulling out early this morning and Samantha said to tell you that she would keep looking for pictures after they get moved. I gave them the contact information for my Brother and I've already talked to him so sometime this summer he's going to take them down to the ranch and see if they can get her a Hog. Her dad said there may be some Hogs down where they were moving, but wasn't sure. Anyway, will miss them.

Well I guess after almost 49 years of marriage, the romance is finally starting to die in our marriage. During our latest activities, my wife commented during the middle of the action, that "Had I noticed how badly the ceiling needed painted". Nothing like killing the initiative!

OH yeah, ALL of the Packrat Tee shirts are now finished and were shipped yesterday. Those that have been waiting, be assured they are now on their way! I want to see some pictures of ya'll wearing them!

Hey don't you guys lump Michigan in with all those states. Everywhere in Michigan except Detroit and Lansing are free thinking and conservative as the south. You can tell by the way we drive 85 90all the time and people still are pushing you out of the left lane. Plus you can tell by how the west side of the state is doing great without free cell phones and welfare checks. Besides all the states around us hate us. I just need to get a ranch down in Texas so in the winter and fall when I have no work I can go hunt.

Also I got a contour roam 2 pov cam from amazon a few weeks ago for $95. Was good for hunting out to about 50 yards max. Then I found a company that offered zoom lenses. They happen to be ten miles down the road on the same dam road as me. So I ran one of my cams down to them and with the lens and install it was $180. So I have $275 in this thing. So when I was down in LA hunting axis deer on work time I got to test it out. Feeder was 120 yards and wood line was about 200. After review it turned out awesome all the way to the woods where it fell. So anyone interested in video hunting. It is a hell of a buy and a great setup wish I had it before I went to Kansas. That was 80yards and not worth watching. The company is rage cams in sparta Michigan. I tried to attach video but to large to fit.

That serial killer look is because of me. Can't list the number of times I am glad I live outside the maximum range of a .338! In fact, even outside the range of a 105 mm Howitzer, BUT if he ever gets his hands on a 155 mm or 8"howitzer, with the new shells, I'm moving to downtown Phoenix. There's safety in numbers!............

Been pondering all day, while I painted that **** ceiling why my Brother gets so nervous around me and when it started. Close as I can come is the day he got married and we had the Wedding and the reception at a lodge in Arrowhead Lake, CA.

First time I remember him going off on me was when he found out that since the Honeymoon suite was over the main downstairs reception area, I had drilled a 1/4" hole in the floor of the Honeymoon suite, right under the bed and ran a piece of Mono fishing line from the Bed springs down through the hole to the main room where I tied a bell. I don't think that bell stopped ringing all night! Every time the bell would start ringing again, we'd order another round.

Anyway, when he found out about it, boy was he PO'd! Didn't think he'd ever quite yelling at me!

Some people have shivaree's, we had a bell. Laughed ourselves hoarse.

Hmmmmm......I wonder if that started it?

By servants quarters, he means the chicken coop. At least that's where he puts DJ up when he comes visiting. He's spent so much time there that the chickens know him by his first name! And don't let him BS you cause I've gone into Google earth and counted them oil wells at Coy's and there is only 18 and they don't make all that much noise!....... )

On another note, had a friend come by yesterday and as I was walking out back I heard what I thought were a bunch of pizzed off bees. Since I was right next to our grapefruit and orange trees I thought we had some of those darn killer bees around and was ready to hit the pond. My brother was out back and was pointing up. Looked up there and it was the friends Drone!

Galveston, those drones make neat shotgun targets and it can get real challenging to down one while the owner it trying to evade your pellets! OK, so it does lose you friends, but anyone flying around my place with a gyro stabilized camera and hovering over my property is subject to my rules and takes their chances. Personally I would consider it an invasion of privacy, especially when we're skinny dipping in the grand kids wading pool. Bad enough that Google Earth doesn't let you know when their mapping!

BUT don't shoot it down until you've located the hogs!!!!!!
