Im retired Navy, 62 yrs. old. I reload load for all my rifles and pistols. Right now, I'm getting ready for the up-coming whitetail rifle season in Texas. I hunt in South Texas but this year I got invited to hunt in West Texas, Davis Mtns, Trans-Pecos Area for mule deer. For those folks that are ex-military. The Dept of the Navy has a ranch near Feer, Tx. The ranch is a 7,000 ac's. plus ranch.

I reload for the following.
rilfe: 30-30, 243, 25-06, 6.5-284, 308, 30-06, 7mm mag, & 300 win mag.
pistol: 357, 44 mag, 45 auto

I also reload for some of my close firends:

rifle: 220 swift, 270WSM, 300RSUM, 264 win mag, and 300 Whby. Mag.

I load for 9 different cartridges 2 of them are AI's (6 AI and 223 AI) these and my other 2 custom guns(in .243) are my most accurate guns.

As of today, i only 24 calibers. I reload just about every major caliber. Not only is it fun with the family, but as much as we shoot, it is much more cost effective. 9 pistol sizes and 15 rifle cartridges add up to alot of shooting.gun)

Forgot the shotguns and collectables...Mosins, Mausers, Maks, make mine 14 and climbing. I do buy factory ammo to get the brass when it's on sale. Can't buy the brass and components for the sale price sometimes....and my Sav 112 22-250 with that amazing factory 1:9 varmit bull barrel has never shot anything less that 1/2" in the 40 to 55 gr range. Most loads do 3/8". Hurts when I miss...can't blame the gun!

Zero, premium factory ammo has improved greatly over the years, enough for 1/2 moa or better from a premium rifle.
