I've got two (2) .223s, two (2) 6.5 Grendels, a .50 Beowulf, and .270 AR (wildcat round that uses a cut down 6.5 creedmoor case......shoots a 130 gr pill at 2,750 ft/sec).

I've made a few changes since I posted last April (2014).

The two bolts are .223, the ARs are 5.56

Currently a DPMS .223 with a 16 inch Bull. Gotta replace the trigger on it and get better optics on it though. I will likely pick up another one as well.

The great thing about AR rifles is the out of the box accuracy I have had lots of them shoot under 1/4 MOA with all kinds of ammo,
Almost annoying when I have spent days of load development for custom bolt guns to get close to that!

I am in the process of building number 8; 16" mid length .300 AAC BLK, SOTA Arms Barrel, Aero Precision upper, lower and forearm, PSA LPK, BCG and CH, Magpul CTR Butt stock assy. As yet undecided on scope and mount.

This is my first AR that is not either .223 or 5.56 I agree that accurate bolt guns are hard to beat and I do have several but ARs are hard to beat for being fun to shoot and for their typical out of the box(es) accuracy.

Yes, a DDM4 V7 and a Springfield Saint with Free Float Rail (couldn't they come up with a better name than "with free float rail")
