Yup - deer and black bears for many years. However, I've got to admit that I have shifted my time, energy and money to longrange biggame hunting and that kind of leaves those 2213's at blistering speeds falling a little short.
I did buy a bow a few years back though and took the bow certification course so I'm looking forward to trying my hand at it sometime. I'm confident in my abilities with the bow and am comfortable with it so I'll probably give it a go in the next few years.
I voted yes...but I will confess, I have switched to using a crossbow. I have killed a few dozen deer and bear with a regular bow...but I like the crossbow better.
The crossbow is easier to maneuver and more comfortable to me.
I'm a yes, but only been doing it for 3 years or so. Never realized what I was missing all those years. Right now is a gorgeous time to be in the woods.
No but, bow hunting or any bow shooting from some of the rigs I've seen looks like it can get pretty sophisticated and technical. My hats off to you guys that do it and are good at it.
Had to vote NO.
Have been shooting a bow since 1992, but where I live whitetails live only in open country, that is why everytime I go hunting I take my rifle. I have to try someday though.
