Barrel break - in ??? What do you do ???

True my friend!
A guy I know says he lapp's his factory rifle barrels but I was told by a gunsmith that highly admire and he said thats a 50 50 propisition.
I got some Tipton Truely Remarkable Bore Solvent and let it sit for 20- 30 minutes and it worked very well,
Have Sweets,C-10,KG copper solvent and some I can't remember.
I will re-barrell that rifle as soon as I see the economy getting better.
Waiting for signs of life in economy before spending the bucks.

I was replying to, Post #78,.. the New Weatherby with only, 30 rounds,.. down, the Pipe !

Thats what I was told by a retired gunsmith,hit or miss.Accurate but rough bores.
He suggested pushing a cotton ball through the bore and see if strands of cotton are in only one place or all through the bore.
I used 1/2 a tub of JB's Bore Paste but it's not much better.
I don't want to spend the bucks if we are headed for a severe market correction because I have plenty of other rifles to use.

I'm kinda thinking that, the Market is,. Turning UP-wards, a Bit for,.. a "while" !
Yup, I've slowed my spending Down already, But, am well stocked on, Reloading supplies ( AKA,.. "Necessities of Life", LOL ! ).
