Apex afterburner a few impact resistance results

Discussion vs argument.jpg

oh here we go bean
When do we here about the rifle that Steve bought you
When do we here of the numbers of animals are fabricated
Oh the gel block wasn't that size

Do I keep the list going 🤷‍♂️
Same old crap people are working ea other out & instead of coming together for the good of everyone
the divisions seem more along the lines of what some want or just try & bury certain people companies

I for one have seen you say well I was wrong & apologies yet a few others seem to have a problem in saying those words
& still stir the pot while making statements on throwing a blanket over everyone & everything when really all they are doing is typing on the keyboard as I'm yet to see any credentials that actually stack up to understanding the basics of a variety of peoples hunting situations & as always I'd love to be proven wrong as that's how I learn
Glad you took the high road with the "good evening"
Well done brother

I'm bowing out also as got more to learn in way better places than the gutter
stay safe shoot straight
Cheers to the nice people

@300prc I sure would like to see that "Life before "X" thread." L😇L!
Nope not today. I'm so sick of bullet talk I could die. Good luck guys. I think, if you all didn't know who each other were standing in a hunting expo all of you would probably be getting along. But written text can get viewed so differently by individuals for good and bad. Opinions get made lines get drawn and contention arises. Ol Orkin would say contention is of the devil. We all have been there. Its kinda fun to raz here and there. But at the days end you would all probably get along and not be such assess to each other. Get along. Go enjoy something. Good night. See you all in the morning.

Yeah, I know, it is NOT worth it. That is well said, have a wonderful evening.

I don't know who you think you are being all rational and such. ;)

Jeez…it's getting real bad. I went to look for the winking emoji, pulled them all up and had to squint until my eyeballs were about to disappear to realize I couldn't even tell which emoji was which. Stupid reading glasses. Guess I should wear them.

I have no idea what you're talking about with a rifle given to Butterbean. You must be thinking about something or someone else. As far as the gel block size I was right and Steve admitted it. So I don't know why you bring that up or how you translate that into trying to bury peoples companies.

IMHO....I equate this testing...or liken it to....testing a .223 with a 220 gr. projectile and tearing apart it's performance to achieve my expectations at 1000 yards! Just me! Keep going Apex!

I think it's an honest question, people used to rag on Berger about their close range impacts even though this is a long range site. Currently Apex only offers the 102gr bullet in the .264 cal and based on the speeds I'm getting with the 123 Hammers I could realistically see a muzzle velocity around 3700 fps with such a light bullet.

If that 3300 fps max number is true then it would be good information to know so that I can either load it in a slower cartridge or consciously make a point to keep it off heavy bone under 200 yards.

That's why the thread was started, to help …. Everyone

Best response.
Side bar - What round are your shooting those 123s in?

Taken in stride 👌 Respect for keeping it classy, sir.
Amen to that! Mark has been been very receptive/open-minded about it. He understands there is NO magic bullet. Keep up the excellent work Mark.

@mcdil, I hope you offer heavier bullet options in the future, esp., in 33. 😇
