Anyone have a Christensen Ridgeline 300wsm

So your just shooting factory loads out of it? what did they do to fix the pressure problem? could you do me a favor and measure the inside length of the magazine please sir if you have a caliper!

I was just shooting factory at first to break it in and to play with it before I could work up a load. I only shoot hand loaded now.

They weren't really good at communicating what was actually wrong. I believe they just blamed a burr in the bolt face.

My reloading spreadsheet stays the mag is 2.885". I will confirm when I get home tonight.

Christensen just emailed me and said they measured a mag length and it was max 3.05 any way you could confirm that?

I've measured it 10 different ways and always come up with 2.910ish.

I did some math for you fubarredz to seat the boatail bearing surface to neck shoulder junction on a 180 Berger elite hunter. Boltface to neck shoulder junction is 1.802. O.A.L of bullet is1.375 - .202 boatail.
1.802+1.173=2.975
As you can see a WSM is not a very good option on a SA even with a extentend mag to get max performance with heavier bullets

I have one, its a great rifle, very light but with the brake doesn't recoil bad at all. Mine took about 30 rounds to get bolt working smooth, very tight at first, seemed like pressure but really think it was just very tight. I have about 100rds on it now very smooth. Using 200gr ELDX and RL26 2880 still tweaking it some. Avg 5 shot group .7 moa. Had some .4 moa 3 shot. For hunting its awesome, I prefer heavier for target shooting. Although it will hold its own against most target guns. I have a Sig Whiskey on it.

Just got my Ridgeline 300wsm Burnt Bronze on Friday. Put a Leupold VX5HD 3-15 56mm. Sub 9lbs setup.
I took it to the range on Saturday. Muzzle break works well, given that the recoil was less than my non-muzzled 270.
I was more focused on barrel break-in, than shooting techniques/form. Regardless, the rifle shot better than the shooter, here is my new field companion and 100 yard target.
After the first group of three, the TriggerTech trigger became "heavy" and the bolt was tight.
I have read about both issues, and a screw adjustment on the trigger and a bit of grease on the bolt head should help.
New rifle, new things to learn. Overall, very pleased with look, feel, weight, and shooting. Once the trigger and bolt tightness is dialed in and corrected, should be a lifetime keeper!
