6.5 PRC Reloading

I'm just sticking with a 24" barrel and I got a pile of matrix to try. They were absolute tack drivers in my 26 nosler and we're awesome on game at short range out to 600ish yards. At 1,000 yards I shot a couple groups under
2 1/2"

You'd be in the winner circle at 1000 yard Bench Rest matches with that kind of shooting.

just a comment.... savage is chambering it. I hear browning is going to offer it in their whole line up. cant wait for brass options and such.

The 26 shot good.

I'm nervous about the hornady brass because I have a 7LRM and the brass just sucks. I would pay for premo brass for my LRM.

600 yards today. after the efforts to get the 147 to shoot consistent .5 moa, it didn't do so hot at 600. anyone else seeing this? I think ill stick with the 140 elites.

a question for someone who may know... I have a Christensen muzzle brake on my rifle with side ports and 4 plugged threaded holes on top. how do I utilize the 4 top ports; is it tuning for accuracy or just the way the rifle recoils?
I was told you unplug ports until the mussel stops jumping. I have one ordered for my 7mm Rem Mag. Some say you can watch bullet strikes as close as 100yds.

I just received my ADG brass today and exited to try it. did you have to adjust your powder charge to stay in the node?

With RL26 and a 140 EH, the node is in the same place for both headstamps. For ADG, I can load about anything from 56.8-57.1 and keep the same POI. I settled at 57.0 grains. Hornady brass was coming together at 56.8 too, but the brass started having problems when I tried to get up into the node. The ADG is holding up great after four firings.

Ran some loads with my new ADG brass this weekend. Good stuff. powder charges that caused h brass to be sticky are now smooth. glad I purchased it. I have a nice wide node at 55 to 56.4 gr h4831 (140 elite). (56.4 getting warm and just starting to pull downward on target). 55.8 is what im settling at. 59 gr h1000 is pretty good too which consistently produces 3 cluster one out.
