Very NiceI just got my ruger no1 back and have been testing loads for it. It's a 33xc with a 31.5" carbonfiber barrel. Right now shooting well with 300gr at 3250fps using us869. Very little recoil and the rifle weight is 11 pounds.

That's good. Had a buddy that built 338-378 Weatherby on a No 1 and had extraction issues once he started getting pressure.None at all

Wish I would've known that, probably would've built a number 1 similar to yours.Ya I had a 338 416rigby that had that problem. It's the brass. It's not designed for the pressure. Look at the history of the 388 lapu
