338 XC, Snipetac, or EnABELR

I would stay around a 1:9 twist depending on the weight/length for .338. Best results for a Berger 300gr-OTM is in a 1:9.35.
Just an opinion.
The first bullet I'm going to try is the Badlands 275gr SBII and it says 1:9 will work, but it's barely above the 1.5 stability. It got be wondering if I should go with a faster twist and at the same time I would hate to go to fast and not be able to shoot cup and core bullets.

@idcwby What cartridge did you decide on? it's a hard choice. I'm not convinced on solids... yet. I'd prob stick with a 1:9 should be fine for most cup and core, it will limit you on some of the heavier solids.

Looking to build a rifle to shoot 1500-2500 yards. Finished rifle needs to weight No more 14-15lbs with scope, bipod and all. What's everyone's thoughts on the three cartridges?
I built a .338 "Big Baer" smithed by Bruce Baer (.408 Chey Tac necked down) and it is simply awesome. It was built off of a Steller action Bartlein barrel left hand gain twist 1/10 to 1/9.25 twist. have shot out to one mile and performed extremally well. Have taken deer and clootie at over 1500 yards using Berger 300 grain Elite Hunter bullets at 3200 FPS behind 142 grains of 50 BMG.

That's moving a 300 grain 338 bullet

Ah, I replied to the wrong post....
But 30", that's seems like a good length. I was thinking about 32, but the builder trotted out a barrel that size, 1.250 full length. It was pretty heavy, so we went with a 30".

of the 3 I would do the 338 snipetac for all out performance ... or just hit the easy button and do the hammer 375 CT.. I've done all of them except the Enabler which doesn't interest me in the slightest no gains over the XC and if its a dedicated LR rig you dont need a mag fed anything..

for me the winner was the 375 cheytac awesome brass, awesome dies off the shelf, awesome bullets, and thunder when they hit!!!

Which BAT action is this?
