We'll see if the velocity increases with more rounds. I'm just under 100 rounds now.
You guys need to get ur barrels throated to 225-235 freebore for the 215 Bergers. I never saw pressure in my rifle till 86.3gr H1000 here's the ladder results. Barrel only had maybe 100 rounds on it at this point.
My bad I now see that. You may have a hot lot of H1000, it's pretty inconsistent lot to lot. I'd suggest trying N565 rl26 or Retumbo as well.While I appreciate your results, there must be more to it sir. Did you see the details I provided including freebore?
sometimes it'll pressure out early and not get the velocity you're after, could be a tight bore. Not the first proof carbon I've heard of that's done it.If I had a hot load wouldn't it show up as a higher velocity at a lower charge?
