I m considering using 80.5 grain full bore target bullets for my 224 Valkyrie. Any thoughts or comments. Coyotes out to 500 yards.

They'll work just fine
When I carry my .22 creed, I shoot the 80 gr vld target and they kill em just fine
When I run out of these 80s, I'll be switching to the 80.5 that you're using and I have no doubt they'll work just as well

Killed deer and coyotes with the 80.5 with 22GT and 22-250. Very accurate bullet and performance . Hornady 75-88 EldM also very accurate bullets that I prefer. Never had anything from coyotes to elk walk away from an EldM in all weightes.

I've been shooting the 80.5 Berger's out of my 22 creed. So far have killed coyotes and bobcats and 1 javalena with them. They have worked well

Any reason why you prefer the ELDMs over the Berger's?
