I tried the Search function with no results. Anyone have any actual experience in using the 6.5 Nosler Accubond in 130 gr on deer and antelope. I have been using the Sierra 130gr Gamechanger on deer with good results. Was given a box of the 130gr Accubonds. I use the 160gr Accubonds with success in my 280. Thanks for your experienc.

I used the 130AB and 140AB in the 6.5 Creed and 6.5PRC. All the deer shot were dead in short order. A lot of guys seem to prefer the 130gr bullets in the Creed in an effort to get the velocity up a bit.

I've shot 15-ish deer with the 130 Accubond in one of my 6.5 Creeds.

I shoot the 130 grain ELD-M's @ 2,830 FPS for Steel Plates / Varmt's ( it's my Main, "All around" Load )
My Big Game Hunting Load is, the 143 gr. ELD-X at 2,735 FPS for Good, Expansion / Penetration, on Game at, 6.5 Creed. Velocities.
My experience with AccuBond's ( .270 WSM w/ 140's @ 3,165 FPS ) was that It, "Killed" my Elk,.. very SLOWLY due to, the Jacket "Peeling Back" to, the Shank portion of the Bullet and making a very Small, Internal wound ( I thought about, having to Shoot him, TWICE but, he Finally, Keeled over ! )
My 140 gr. Berger, Classic Hunters at, 3,175 FPS ave., used on, a Bull, the Next Year,.. Pow,.. Hooves in Air,. DRT !
Complete Pass thru, Upper Shoulders,.. internal Organs,. "Jello" !!
For the Little, 65 Creed, I'd go with, MORE "Expansion",.. IMO !
140- 147 grain, ELD-M's, 143 gr. ELD-X's, Berger 130 gr. OTM's / 135 gr. Classic Hunters or,.. the Nosler Ballistic Tips,..
BUT, the AB's are "probably Fine",.. on Deer ( Personally, I'd Test them in Gelatin with, a Hide / Bone, in Front, tho ! ).
Even, the 130 gr. Sierra's would Be, BETTER than AB's at,.. Creed Velocities ( Again, JMHO )

If your rifle will shoot them accurately then run them. They do great. No need to overthink numbers, velocities, different calibers, apple, oranges etc. They will do just fine.
