Hi all

looking at unit 82 antelope in Wyoming I was curious if anybody knows how far the unit is from the town of Cody or Greybull. looks pretty close to Cody. My wife is thinking about coming with me and I might just do a hunt staying in hotel if it's close enough just to drive back-and-forth every day during the hunt.

Definitely, I have done it before, and will hunt 82 this year if I draw a tag.

Unit 82 is approximately 30 minutes from downtown Cody. It all depends upon which area of the unit you hunt.

I hunted 82 last year and had a great time for an old man! LOL The trails in the unit were challenging due to a lot of washouts that occurred during heavy Spring rains last year. Even with a Yamaha Grizzly ATV, I had to reroute once in a while because some tracks were so bad. Plan accordingly.

Me too, hoping I draw a tag. That's a late season hunt, so they are already spooked, but there's less people out there hunting them.

Dang it. Wife and I both applied, I got one, she didnt.

Lived in Cody 30+ years taken several in that Unit, along with my son, brothers who visited. Good access with dirt road. Plenty of antelope, no real big ones.
