  • I have almost pulled the trigger on 20P barrels before. But the 204 issue I had left a bad taste. I have been down semi custom routes before, again bad taste, unless you spend big money on a Lilja, or Krieger it just seems everything is mass produced anymore. Was yours a White Oak? They made a lot of 20P's. What did the problem end up being?

    Cheers, Tony

I had a Olympic Arms Ultramatch put 10 in a group smaller than a dime, 50gr Speer TnT and H335. They can shoot, but like always requires a great barrel, truing the face of the upper, something other than factory trigger parts....and the gas cycling has to be considered.

I had a McGowen 260 on a Savage Target action, prior to the Creedcraze, it was just OK. My 6 x 6.8 from Black Hole weaponry really soured me on anything than high end.

Could not get it to shoot. Pulled the barrel , ordered some cerrosafe from Brownells and cast the chamber and throat. Chambered crooked....the three lands were all different lengths from the neck. .000, .050, and .100. I still would like to try the 20P, but the 204 took a lot of that steam away from it.
