It's already all that........6.5/22-250 Ackley Improved. Kinda puts off a European, multi name vibe, don't it? Not quite like my manly 28 Remington Maximum (7mm Rem Mag).

Soap box warning: I've been a believer in efficient cartridges for 40 years, taught to me by my father when I first started reloading 222 Rem at 15. My favorite cartridges are 250 Savage, 308 and I now like both 6.5x47 and 6.5 Creedmoor.
All Hornady did was take one of the most efficient and beloved wildcats, 250 Ackley, and neck it up to 6.5 where the best selection of long range bullets are. (Not literally but if you look at cartridge dimensions the Creed is identical to a 250 AI, except a 30 deg shoulder instead of a 40 deg) They didn't invent anything new really. Barely any difference between it and the 260 (6.5/308) or 6.5x47 both of which existed before the Creed.
All that said, I believe 90% of shooters are more accurate with moderate recoiling rifles. Studies have shown this to be true. Most people would be more effective hunters trading in that 300 win mag cannon, which is way way more than what is needed for deer, for a 6.5 Creed, 257 Roberts, 6.5x55, 260, 7mm-08 or 7x57.
Next go to the range, take your deer blaster magnum, 7STW or 300 Win mag and do a cold bore shot at 100 yards, offhand, without any sand bags. See how close you get to the bullseye with your cold bore shot.

I don't know about you guys, but I've shelved a lot of reloading projects with my big boomers because of the price and availability of powder, LRM primers, etc. My 6ARC, 6.5 Grendel, 6.5CM, 222 and other smaller capacity cartridges are getting more bench time because of this. Smaller case capacity and cheaper bullets = more time behind the trigger for me.

I love shooting my 10ish .22 centerfires , they are defiantly a blast (insert pun ) ! But with the arrival last spring of my first custom 338 banging steel has a new meaning . Simple one handed shoots with zero muzzle jump and I can spot impacts really makes shooting fun . That 300 Sierra gameking makes the gongs flip over on the hangers . Worst thing is walking so far out to put them back down . But heck I lost 25 lbs in the process . Makes explaining the cost of components to the wife easier as it's still cheaper and used more than a gym membership ! 
As @levers4life said with the price of components pretty high I have been shooting my 223 and 6.5 much more frequently. " The world is full of compromise and infinite red tape " If you can name the lyric your as old if not more so than me ! Lets call the ding "music " , and it makes things better than they seem . Think north of the border . There is nothing more satisfying than that ding , bang or thud . First time I took my son in law to the range with his nicely built ar , he was tickled shooting targets at 100 yards . Should have seen the smile when I made him start shooting the steel at 300 yards and he was making the "music" . Paper is boring (if your gun is already sighted in ) and makes no "music"

Besides if I have learned anything from you " influencers " on this site , bullets , powder and primers as well as barrels are a consumable item ! Seems that my money fits in there some how also !
Similar story but in this case, I'm *pretty sure* I managed to get the BRAKED muzzle past the end of the hood of my truck for a coyote about 450 yards away…as my buddy apparently walked behind me and didn't plug his ears as I gently squeezed the triggerI made a huge mistake last month shooting off the hood of my Sami trying to get on running pig, I didn't realize that the end of the muzzle was even with the windshield when I squeezed the trigger, it was like getting mule kicked in the ear and my cousin who was standing behind me and never been around one landed on the ground in the stickers holding his ears and screaming

Then a, "how in the *BEEP* is that thing so loud!?"I answered him…but he couldn't hear me. lol

I Don't own, a 6.5 Creed-MOOR,.. aka, the "sissy rifle" !
I own, a 6.5 CREED ( you know, the Version that, comes,. WITHOUT,.. the Man bun ).
That Wonderful, Little 6.5 Creed, aka,. "Sissy Rifle" ,. Helped greatly to, finish OFF/ CURE, my UN-Braked, .338 Win. Magnum,.. Flinch !
My Flinch started to Go Away with shooting, a .270 WSM and I was Fully CURED when I gave it, to my Grandson and Bought, a 6.5 Creed.
I'm a Dinosaur tho, as I, Pre-Date, the Muzzle Brake, the Silencer / Can and even, the Range Finder, Days !
YUP,. I LOVE My Tikka, "Lefty", in 6.5 Creed, launching 130 gr ELD-M's at Over, 2,800 FPS and putting them into, ONE Hole,.. 3's and 4's !
AND,.. I seriously DON'T Miss, my .338 Magnum,.. Flinch !

I made a huge mistake last month shooting off the hood of my Sami trying to get on running pig, I didn't realize that the end of the muzzle was even with the windshield when I squeezed the trigger, it was like getting mule kicked in the ear and my cousin who was standing behind me and never been around one landed on the ground in the stickers holding his ears and screaming
