It's a condition called anal glaucoma...call your boss and tell them
It is ,and was ,always simple to me , you just have to put first things first when it comes to hunting and fishing .I work in a trade "Boilermaker" is my trade. I'm really lucky actually are busy time is March-may/june, then slow middle of June-to right after Labor Day. Then it slows back down right around deer season. So from mid March to end of may we are working 6-7 days a week rolling in the or, summer is hit and miss with being busy and if it is busy they sometimes will let you take a long weekend if you have plans. I kind of plan hunting around what our work scope is going to be. There's times I left money on the table to live and have fun, there's been other times I had to go to work. There's give and take in all parts of life. Just got to find what works for you and your family.
Yikes! Depends on the ice report, that crazy wind has caused some damage. Maybe off of Jefferson or the other side - Stockbridge. It's a big lake! Which is why we call it "The Big Lake".![]()
That's looks badRight now off Merrit street. Right over a bridge.
Another easy way is just become unsupupervisable and they will be glad to let you off , but of course when you play that card ,your boss needs to understand he can't do without youMy secret for getting off of work to hunt is being a very valued employee and working my butt off the rest of the year.
I don't "ask" for time off. I "inform" my work of when I will be off.
I technically get "unlimited PTO", but I do not take advantage of it (meaning abuse the privilege). I have even had my bosses tell me I need to take more time off.
Fingers crossed for the 2025 AZ draws.
Just watched 200 head of cow elk bed down in a hay field 1mile from my front door, heading out a 6 am in -6 deg and 2 ft of snow should be funWell then come to central Mt and shoot cow elk with me!!
A 4 wheeler is much lighter. And cheaper to replace. That, to me, looks like a great way to get off work, permanently.
