Whats the cartridge you LOVE to HATE?

While it's the new speed demon cartridge and designed to run heavy for caliber projectiles, I feel it's a bit over rated. Barrel life is terrible, factory loading's are only available from Horizon, it's only about 100-150fps faster than a 22 GT or 22-250.

Are you suggesting that barrel life is significantly worse than a 22-250?

As Iv'e stated before, IMO the only cartridge I have total dislike for is the 7.62x39. I dodged too many on Nam

The only reason I don't totally agree with this is because it has a much lower range that it's accurate at than a 5.56 or 7.62x51.

We had to teach several that lesson in Southwest Asia.

Hornady makes ammo for it now with the ELDX and ELDM projectile. Barrel life is definitely it good though.

If 6mm Creed is noted as a "barrel burner" then 22 Creed has to be significantly worse. I know 6 creed barrels run about 1500 rounds as I've been running it for my match rifle for the last few years and my 2nd barrel is about shot out. I've also been running 22 GT and I've shot out one barrel so far and it was right around 1500 rounds as well, but it was also a bit of a lemon to begin with.
