Now THERE'S the truth of the matter! . Why do you think I sold my .308???I hate any round that is inherently accurate or easy to load for because then it's just me!

Though truth be told the only truly fussy or finicky cartridge that I really had to fight with to get the results I wanted was the .220 swift. And I sure don't hate it!I hate any round that is inherently accurate or easy to load for because then it's just me!
I use 55 gr BT with 39gr of IMR 4064. The only thing was it like anything I put into it. The 55gr was the best. I didn't go to any heaver bullets.Though truth be told the only truly fussy or finicky cartridge that I really had to fight with to get the results I wanted was the .220 swift. But the one I got to work with years ago only liked 55 grain flat base bullets and only if they were in front of IMR 4064. Once I accepted that and stopped trying to convince it to try new things we got along real good haha.
It's like Mr Ford about the model T: "you can have it in any color you like so long as it's black"
It shoots lights out with any load you feed it so long as it's a 55 grain flat base bullet over 38.0 grains of 4064
The list is growing.....That could be a lot!
The more I think about this, it boils down to any cartridge that doesn't readily come available with brass or factory ammo support upon release.
But that really points to the desihner/manufacturer than the actual cartridge, 6 ARC comes to the front of my mind.
What's wrong with short and fat???? Asides from eating err... feeding issues.
As a Ukrainian boy... tall and fat is directly related to my eating issues. But now that I am married to an English woman who can't cook... i think my "feeding" issues are getting worse and worse!!!
